clean room bright room helpful staff poor sleep cold breakfast beer cans
The room was lovely and clean, I thought it was really bright. The bathroom was well equipped. I found shower gel. Breakfast was FANTASTIC. There was a variety of options. the bacon and eggs were warm. The staff was helpful that morning. They cleared the plates regularly.
I had a poor night's sleep because of the pillows. First impressions MATTERED. I saw empty beer cans and takeaway boxes in the ground floor entrance. It looked more like student digs than a hotel.

train station breakfast options buffet choices
the hotel is close to the train station. it made getting around easy. breakfast had various options like sausage bacon and scrambled eggs. there was also toast croissants and yogurt available. a buffet provided several choices.
the shower drain was slow. it almost overflowed during use. this made showering inconvenient and i hope they fix it.

the location was superb. the breakfast selection included fresh pastries, a variety of fruits, and hot items like scrambled eggs and sausages. my room was clean. the large shower offered a refreshing start to each day.
the room i had was smaller than expected, slightly inconvenient when trying to organize my belongings.

no windows stale air
the staff were very helpful at reception. there were several car parks nearby that provided discounted parking through the hotel, a definite benefit.
the room had no windows that could be opened, so there was no fresh air. the bathroom size was decent, but that single aspect couldn't make up for the stale air in the room. i felt a bit trapped without the option to air out the space, even for a little while

The breakfast had a wide selection, with gluten-free and dairy-free options (a pleasant surprise!). The location was very central, close to the train station and bus stops. The staff were genuinely helpful and friendly.
I experienced a cold room. The AC unit could not adjust to a warmer temperature.
